Usage is measured in minutes of active conversation across all channels. Voice calls are measured by call duration. SMS and chat are measured by conversation duration (from first message to 5 minutes of inactivity). Each plan includes a monthly minute allocation — overage is billed at your plan's per-minute rate.

Business plans are for standalone businesses that want Bell answering their phones. You enter your business info (hours, services, FAQs) directly or optionally connect via MCP. Platform plans are for software companies that want to offer Bell to their customers — you build one MCP server and Bell handles calls for all your managed accounts with per-tenant data scoping.

You'll be billed at your plan's per-minute overage rate. We'll notify you at 80% and 100% of your allocation so there are no surprises.

Only if you want to. Standalone businesses can enter their info directly — hours, services, FAQs — and Bell will use that to answer customers. MCP is for software platforms or businesses that want Bell to pull live data from their existing system. Most MCP integrations take 1-3 days.

Platform plans include a flat monthly base plus a per-managed-account fee. Each managed account gets its own phone number, agent configuration, and usage tracking. Usage overage is billed across all managed accounts at your plan's per-minute rate.
